If you are finished with your Typographic Poster, or need my assistance to finish it up…

 I have a few options to pick from for your final project for this semester. Please choose one below or propose something different when I see you on Monday. This project is meant to be a quicker explorative project to finish out the semester. Don’t worry about turning in typography posters until next week even if you have them done.

 

 

1. Research about Icons or Iconography design and design a small set of Icons of your choice.
   – Resources 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5
   – Consider creating a set of at least 5 simplified graphic symbols of ANY topic that interests you
2. Design a Graphic Resume for yourself
   – Resources 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 
   – You could create a personal identity for your resume although it is not required. As an artist you have the ability to really make you resume stand out from others but it must be well done and maintain professionalism.
3. Research  or expand your skillset in Photoshop using some new resources of your choice, then present at least one new short lesson to the class at our scheduled final
   – focus on tutorials for new techniques as you will be exposed to new tools while also learning a new technique
   – the lesson that you prepare for the class should be about 5-10 minutes in length and look at a new advanced technique few already know about.
4. Create an original illustrated graphic of a simplified subject such as an  animal/person/place
   – This project will require you to learn about your subject and focus on the key visual elements as an illustration should not be a remake or traced illustration of a photo. Instead focus on the use of simplified shapes, lines, and colors.

5. Research and develop a presentation poster about a professional Graphic Designer of your choice
