Very few things in life are permanent. Basically it is a known factor that change will happen and it is rarely ever easy. How open are you changes that you encounter in life? I have found recently that real changes are more difficult that I had ever imagined. These changes often mean more work, time, energy, and often at the expense of other pieces of our life. Ultimately the question can’t simply be can I do it, but more deeply, will it improve my life or the lives of those around me in a way that make it worthwhile.

Change happens. We can adapt or watch it leave without us.

With our new unique journey in education, our quests and blogs continue to evolve to better serve both you and the Captain. These changes create continued challenges that we are meeting head on every day. The Captain believes education can be better and that change must happen. Well you are all a part of that and the Captain is very proud of that fact. He also wants your feedback so he’s always awaiting your comments in quest or posts…good or bad.

Hopefully Graphic 1 students are wrapping up your type design and Graphic 2 got your posters submitted. Judging will occur soon as mastery will be awarded to the Best of the Best!

Graphic 1 – Should be progessing through the pentool quests and possibly the logotype quest.

Graphic 2 – Begin work on the Photoshop Quests (more will be coming soon) we will also be discussing the Scanner Quest (videos not available yet)

UPDATE:

Individual Evaluations begin today. You need to know our rubric and be thinking about where you fall on the rubric. Do you have the new week six post up? I hope your blog is ready to go. I have noticed several of you not categorizing your weekly posts which means other may be missing as well. Correct them if you want credit. Also note that your minutes need be accurate or you can expect a penalty.

Graphic Design 2 Students – If you are ready for a new challenge here is one to begin work on. We will begin in class lessons together when evaluations are done.
