Well, Congrats on making to the final week of our crusade. I think the semester has been an interesting journey to put it simple. Its time for everyone to make a final post. There will be two parts to today’s post however.

First you need to wrap up the current design or quest you are working on. While many people have have been working diligently the last two weeks without completing many quests you may not have made many new posts. The Captain wants everyone to create a post with an image of what you have been working on. The image must be posted correctly with a 200px thumbnail. Then next to the image reflect on: what you learned, why it interested you, what would do or change with the lesson if you had another two weeks.

Second Everyone needs to write a reflection on your experiences this last semester.

• What are you leaving this semester with that you did not have when it began?
• How has our Gamified Class altered your approach to learning? Did you work for you, motivate you, discourage you, confuse you?
• What did you personally find to be the most valuable aspect of our class this semester.

Over the last 12 weeks did you meet your potential? More importantly What helped you meet it or what prevented you from getting there? Often times we incorrectly judge ourself based on other’s success. Often times we judge our success based on perfection. As it has been pointed out all semester the goal we need to set is to always be our best. Its easy to say and sometimes just as easy to thing “I did my best” but in reality did you do your best or did you attempt to do your best. There can be a big difference in those two simple ideas. Its is EXTREMELY difficult to “be your best” but more importantly if we always try to be our best those moments of perfection, awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping, jubilant achievements will happen.

So what can you do better. What you can you do more of to “Try to do your best” creating more chances for those moments of pure and total pride? That is the answer you should take with you from this class this semester and into your life.
