This might be the last time I talk to you for a while as I think you are about ready to get out there and get to work.

You’ve got your blog that The Whiz will help you keep straight all the way to the end and Yuna is gonna get you rolling with the Big A…Adobe. Before I send you off I have a challenge for you that we will revisit later this semester.

It’s actually pretty simple. Just go to your existing blog menu page titled, “Design Skills”, and do an edit directly on that page.

Now answer this question:

What is Graphic Design?

You  see graphic design can be a lot of different things to a lot of different people. There are a lot of different skills, directions  and careers that graphic design can offer you. Consider a few of these:

• What does graphic design look like?
• What does a graphic designer do?
• What do they create?
• Why is Graphic design so important to our lives?
• What tools are used?
• Who do they potentially work for?
• What does it take to become one?
• Can you be one?

You may research, create opinions, give or show examples and anything else you choose. Record all sources that you utilize to assist you in describing Graphic Design.

Once you have fully finished your page edit/update for “What is Graphic Design?” you can COMPLETE.

Mastery can’t really be earned on the quest yet. Its pretty simple…do you really think you have mastered an understanding of what Graphic Design is or can be already?

I didn’t think so. Its a big world of design out there and we have all semester to explore it.
