This week it is going to be critical that you focus on two things, you blog and the asymmetrical design, as we near our first evaluation point. First your blog needs to be accurate, organized, and complete. It should be showing what you have done as well as what was learned in the quests you have completed so far. Failure to to follow instruction and create complete thoughts with correct grammar will have its consequences come next week. As you approach completion of the asymmetrical type design you will learn how to correctly begin posting images to your blog. This will be essential for the rest of the semester to I would advise to carefully understand that process.

Oh boy, evaluations are coming up soon. Be sure you know the Rubric and where you stand with. You do know evaluations are one on one with the Captain, right? He expects you to be able to tell him the grade you have earned and why.
Update:
Please put the first design project (Asymmetrical Design or Prom Poster) on a new page under the projects parent page. If you already posted a bunch about your design on the weekly blog simply copy and paste it on the the page. The new page should contain any images, screenshots, notes or thoughts about what you learned in the creation of your project. Students in Advanced GD will be scanning your sketchbook work for the poster to also post onto the poster project page. Please title the page according to the design project (usually the same as the quest title)
Also before you complete a project you must also physically turn in your finished Illustrator or Photoshop file to the Captain for the archive and printing. You all have the link to his server folder on your dock, remember? Retitle your file correctly. It MUST be:
LastName_Firstinitial_ProjectTitle.ai — if it is Illustrator
or
LastName_Firstinitial_ProjectTitle.psd — if it is Photoshop
Put the file into the correct folder for your class and project. You will not receive credit until the captain actually receives your design file.
