This is the point in the semester that it becomes very clear to the Captain which agents have their sights set high, which agents will simply do what is asked, and which agents seem to have the goal of seeing what the minimum is the Captain will allow. At this point in the semester everyone should have completed all 12 boot quests many (if not all) of which should have been documented with mastery. There have been another 4 required Illustrator quests and an abundance of time to explore, begin, or complete other Lynda Quests, Design Quests, or Illustrator Quests.
If you are striving to be your best I would expect Boot Camp plus 5-6 other quests completed. Those of you that have chosen to take on the Pen Tool or an Epic quest you have my respect as those are quest that will really push your skills in Illustrator. If you aren’t working on an Epic Quest by mid-week I will ask for an explanation in in your weekly post. While some explanations are valid realize not all reasons are equal. Basically, I want everyone to be on an Epic Quest Wednesday.

One thing Captain wanted me to remind you is that if you have a question about strategy for the game, your blog, or a path, make sure to ask. The CIA has great potential to evolve learning as we know it but its not perfect and your questions and suggestions are vital to improving every agents experience. Here is a quest to encourage you to relay your thoughts on problems, new ideas, better solutions, or anything else that could improve the CIA and Agents experiences. Your ideas and opinions are priceless in improving education as we know it.
This weeks required quest are very quick and simple but helpful in Illustrator:
- Selection Tool AKA the Black Arrow.
- Direct Selection Tool AKA the White Arrow.
They are all located in Illustrator Tool Quests where you can find lot more great Illustrator quests and loads of potential Gold.
