You guys are doing great work with Photoshop. I do have a couple of suggestions for some of you. Remember that the purpose of your blog is to demonstrate your learning and mastery of skills which means its more than stating the obvious. For example if you are posting about Photoshop Layers, don’t say you liked the quest or learned a lot. Don’t say you finished the quest and Layer are important or they are just how you stack things. Instead record your notes and show what you learned. This might be with notes, bullets, or even images but there is no way you completed the quest if everything you learned can be stated one short paragraph.

Some people also seem to think that Photoshop is the answer to all their design prayers as they didn’t like Illustrator. While most designers to have preferences they are both essential to be great. Beware that many Photoshop lovers rely completely on other people images and thus run into major copyright and integrity issues. We will be learning about how to use Photoshop to alter your Illustrator elements soon as that is a major way of still maintaining your own original designs.
