Its Opening Day/Week and I love baseball. Wish I could have scored Rockies Home opener tix but maybe next. Not much better than spending a beautiful sunny day in LODO taking in a game at Coors Field. I may be a Rangers and Cubs fan (its a long story) but I love my Rox as well. There nothing wrong with having three favorite teams, right? Also Iowa State may not win the Title this year but if one of our stars didn’t break his foot in the first round you better believe we’d be in the Final Four right now.
I hope your break was as refreshing as mine whether you did something extravagant or simply recharged at home like me. Believe it or not we have only 8 weeks left before finals begin. That’s not a lot of time so now is the time to show what you are made of and finish off the semester climbing higher!
I realize that we have had some confusion with expectations of what your posts and pages need to look like and what they should include. I have created a few new quests that will clarify many questions about menus, catlists, differences between pages and post and ultimately what needs to be included in them. Please note the required quests for everyone!
- Posts and Pages – How to create and organize them
- Blog Posting – Documenting your learning allows for your Freedom – REQUIRED FOR ALL
- Project Pages – Show your process – REQUIRED for Advanced Students
Hopefully those help answer questions you may have. If there is more clarity needed please inform the Captain. We all have specific work to get done over the next couple weeks.
GD1 – Begin Intro to Photoshop CS6 – Everyone one needs to put your other work on hold as we jump into Photoshop together. We will start off with the Photoshop 101 quest and follow a bit of a path there as suggested in the Quests.
GD Adv.- Focus all energy on your current Design Projects, remember Art Show submission entries are due by next Monday if possible. If you can meet that deadline, I would love to consider it for our district show. I have also added some extra info to your current quests so it might be worth taking a quick look at those to see what is now available including new instructional videos and galleries.
