This is the simplest and shortest quote I could find. Is it also the easiest to understand?
I hope it is. This is all I ask but don’t take it lightly because doing your best is never as easy as many allow it to sound. How often to you REALLY do your best? I know I can’t say always. I don’t think I could even say at least half the time. Not doing your best only allows for one thing.
Regret.
We often think we will gain more time or find an easier way out but in the end personal reget will find you now or years down the road. While you may not be able to avoid it totally as we are human, again I just ask you to “do you best” and the rest will follow. When you do your best you avoid regret and can embrace personal pride in knowing there is nothing better you can do. That’s rare! Embrace it.
